Cellar Cafe in Fingal Bay may just be the best kept secret of Port Stephens. This cozy little cafe is a real hidden gem that has a relaxed vibe. Located one street back from the beach and is usually busy with locals who are there all throughout the days to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and service is quick!

Cellar Cafe has friendly, accommodating staff who also welcome your furry friends! The front and back decks of the cafe are dog friendly allowing you freedom to sit either undercover or in the sun depending on the weather!

Cellar Cafe has some of the best organic coffee in the area! The meal sizes served here at Cellar Cafe are not only generous and delicious but also reasonably priced. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as offering bar snacks this place is the perfect spot after a walk on idyllic Fingal Bay beach or exploring the less known Barry Park (national park). Keep an eye on the specials board, as they had one of the best burgers we’ve ever eaten! Cellar Cafe also offers mouth watering hand rolled pizzas which are budget friendly and perfect for the kiddies.

For those wanting to get out and explore, we suggest grabbing a takeaway coffee and muffin and heading towards the beach for a walk along the bike path. Near the Surf Club there is an off leash secured exercise area for those dogs needing to burn some extra energy (a good dog is a tired dog!). If you are after a more relaxed start to the day a delicious coffee and breakfast on the covered deck overlooking the herb gardens is a must.

Well worth the short drive (15 mins from Anna Bay) to drop in for a meal, coffee or a cold beer on tap. Cellar Cafe also has plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
