Valhalla Restaurant Bar

This viking Scandinavian influenced restaurant bar is truly one of a kind. Located in Bob’s Farm on the main road it is the perfect spot to stop for lunch on the way to the start of your holiday. Alternatively, it is only a 7minute drive from Anna Bay.

In Norse mythology, Valhalla is a majestic, enormous feasting hall of honourable heroes slain in battle, and Odin rules over them. Together, the heroes and gods feast under a ceiling thatched with golden shields while the golden tree Glasir stands outside.

Valhalla is often overlooked and is a real hidden gem! The restaurant bar sits on the beautiful Spruce Estate and boasts a picturesque green backdrop of a pine forrest. When you walk through the front doors you feel as though you have entered another world and stepped back in time. The highland cattle will keep the little ones entertained while the expansive grassed area is a great place for them to burn off some energy.

The front area of the restaurant is dog friendly, making it the perfect spot to slow down, relax and take in the beauty of the estate.

The restaurant bar is homely with a delicious range of wood fire pizzas made from locally sourced ingredients (they also serve gluten free bases). For those brave enough to take on some chilli, we highly recommend the ‘Thor’ pizza with an ice cold schooner of Coopers to follow!

Valhalla also serves coffee, cakes and gelato for those wanting a small bite to eat or something sweet. Take away is also available.
