Valhalla is often overlooked and is a real hidden gem! The restaurant bar sits on the beautiful Spruce Estate and boasts a picturesque green backdrop of a pine forrest. When you walk through the front doors you feel as though you have entered another world and stepped back in time. The highland cattle will keep the little ones entertained while the expansive grassed area is a great place for them to burn off some energy.

It is located one street back from the beach and is usually super busy with mostly locals who are their all throughout the days to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meal sizes are really generous (keep an eye on the specials board as they had one of the best burgers we’ve ever had)
Order a takeaway coffee, go for a walk along the dog and baby friendly concrete path that runs adjacent to the beach from the Kiddies Corner all the way to Shoal Bay. There is a fenced in off leash area about half way along.
